How does matching work?
The concierge gets to know you through conversation — what you're looking for, how you like to connect, and what kind of people tend to light you up. It builds a picture over time and uses that to find introductions worth making. When it finds a strong match, it introduces you to someone specific rather than showing you a feed to scroll through.
How is my privacy protected?
MeetPeeps uses progressive disclosure tiers. Before you and your match both confirm interest, neither of you sees the other's name, photo, or contact details — only a short AI-generated snippet of why the match might work. Full details are only shared once both parties have expressed interest. You can review everything we hold about you under Settings → What the AI knows about you.
How do I block or report someone?
On any match page, scroll to the bottom and tap “Block or report a concern.” You can block the person (they won’t appear in your matches again) or submit a report. Every report is reviewed by our team. Blocking is immediate and permanent from your side.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, conversations, match history, and all AI-inferred data. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also email leedan@meet-peeps.com to request manual deletion.
How do the audio calls work?
When you and your match are both confirmed and ready, MeetPeeps sets up an encrypted audio call directly in the app — no need to exchange phone numbers or use a third-party app. Calls are powered by LiveKit. We do not record audio.
Is MeetPeeps free?
Yes — MeetPeeps is free during the current beta. We'll give you advance notice before any paid features are introduced.
What kinds of connections can I make?
Any kind. Friends, romantic partners, creative collaborators, co-founders, mentors, advisors, or anyone else worth knowing. There are no modes to switch between — just tell the concierge what you're looking for and it handles the rest.
Who can use MeetPeeps?
MeetPeeps is open to anyone 18 or older based in or around San Francisco. We're currently in beta with a limited user base, but waitlist signups are open.
Safety concerns
If you feel unsafe or have experienced harassment, please report it immediately using the Block/Report button on the match page. For urgent safety concerns, contact local emergency services. You can also email safety@meet-peeps.com directly.
